For those who have been deterred from purchasing Battlefield 2042 and FC 24 already due to the response to both titles, but still find themselves curious enough to EA FC 24 Coins  give them a try, it looks like both games are going to be included as part of the Xbox Game Pass in the near future. XJP (via Eurogamer) has shared screenshots of Battlefield 2042 and FC 24 on the Microsoft Store sporting the Game Pass logo following a recent update. As of the time of writing, neither Microsoft nor EA have confirmed that the titles are coming to the service, meaning that their addition is just a rumor for now.

It's worth noting that previous entries in both franchises have been included in Xbox Game Pass due to its inclusion of EA's own subscription service, EA Play. EA Play was added to the Xbox Game Pass service in early 2021 at no extra cost to Game Pass subscribers and brought franchises such as EA Sports FC, Madden, Mass Effect and Dragon Age to the already extensive amount of games on offer through the service, and due to EA's ownership over the titles.

It's rare that any of them leave the service. Traditionally, EA titles have displayed the EA Play logo on the Microsoft Store, rather than the Xbox Game Pass one, meaning that if the screenshots and rumors are true, this could mark a new kind of agreement between EA and Microsoft for these recent titles, potentially indicating that like many games on the Xbox Game Pass service, their inclusion is timed.

Many would agree that Battlefield 2042 and FC 24 weren't the most groundbreaking entries in either franchise. Despite this, if it does end up being true, their addition to Xbox Game Pass could bring new players who were on the fence about playing both titles, and make up for Battlefield 2042's lacking sales in the eyes of EA.

May's lineup for PlayStation Plus has finally been revealed and will include the likes of FC 24 among other titles. Recently Sony announced the specific dates it would be merging PlayStation Plus with PlayStation Now to create a new tiered version of the former. The process will start in select Asian markets near the end of next month before steadily expanding to the rest of the world over the coming months.

While the new model of PlayStation Plus will follow examples set by competitors Microsoft and Nintendo with their subscription-based gaming services, there has been some concern over whether or not the new service will actually be a step back when compared to the current model. Even though the entire PlayStation Plus Collection will be available to all subscription tiers once the relaunch hits, it seems that accessing the same number of  EA FC 24 Coins for sale games will cost more, perhaps making the new PlayStation Plus worse value. Though this substantial transition will begin soon, in the meantime the subscription service will function per usual, and the latest monthly roster of new games has at last been confirmed.
