Spiral air duct is a thin-walled pipe made of metal strip material rolled into a spiral seam, circular, non welded, non leaking, non leaking, and commonly used for air supply and bulk material transportation, replacing traditional white iron pipes (i.e. manually seam iron pipes). It is a type of air duct with a full mechanism, and straight pipes do not require manual tapping. Its main uses are as follows:
(1) Air supply, including ventilation such as fresh air and exhaust, has a wide range, such as in factory workshops and production sites. Due to the generation of harmful gases, outdoor air needs to be discharged and transported indoors. At this point, it is necessary to use air ducts with high flow rates and low pressure, such as spiral ducts. Generally, galvanized iron pipes are used, while stainless steel pipes are used in corrosive and particularly humid environments.
(2) Send cold air. The common type is the duct of central air conditioning, which requires insulation material. Spiral ducts can be coated with insulation materials inside, which looks beautiful on the outside.
(3) Exhaust oil fumes. The kitchens of restaurants, hotels, and hotels all produce a large amount of oil fumes that need to be discharged. The use of circular air ducts is called oil fume chimneys. Here, spiral ducts should be called oil fume ducts.
(4) Dust removal. Some factories have a lot of dust in their production workshops and require specialized dust removal devices. For pipelines with high airflow, spiral ducts can be used.
(5) Bulk material transportation. In the production process of some factories, loose particles need to be transported, especially those with low specific gravity such as foam plastic particles. The use of spiral air ducts is low-cost and effective.
