How to Prevent Muffin Sticking When Using Thick Cupcake Liners

Preventive Measures

1. Greasing the Liners: One of the straightforward methods to prevent sticking is to grease the liners thoroughly. Use a light coating of butter, shortening, or non-stick spray on the inside of each fancy muffin liner, thick cupcake liner, and wave cupcake liner. This creates a barrier between the liner and the muffin, allowing for easy removal.

2. Flour Dusting: After greasing, lightly dust the inside of the liners with flour. This adds an extra layer of protection and helps the muffin to slide out without sticking.

3. Room Temperature Ingredients: Ensure that your ingredients, particularly the eggs and butter, are at room temperature. Cold ingredients can cause the batter to set too quickly on the liner, increasing the chances of sticking.

4. Properly Filled Liners: Overfilling your fancy muffin liners, thick cupcake liners, or wave cupcake liners can cause muffins that overflow and stick. Fill each liner no more than two-thirds full to allow for expansion during baking.
